The SecOVID method is not just secure, it is also easy to handle and user-friendly. The user receives an eight-digit numerical code, calculated on the basis of random properties of the 3DES algorithm. This code is valid just once. Without a PIN the one-time password is useless, and without the token the PIN is useless. This is precisely the strength of two-factor authentication: knowledge (PIN) and possession (token).
